I began Patternistas with Chris Carpenter - who, for 35 joyful years, was my beautiful partner in work, rest and play. Chris had melanoma and, though he received amazing treatment and care at Velindre Cancer Hospital, he died in 2023. He is truly, madly, deeply missed by me, our incredible kids and a multitude of others. He would like me to remind you to stay safe in the sun and wear your factor 50.
